For the artwork Poorten van Hoop, Studio Juul Rameau investigated what the concepts of liberation, freedom, peace and hope mean to people. This resulted in a robust, open and subtle-looking monumental work in honor of the 75th celebration of the liberation in Son en Breugel.

In this video we take you through the development and creation process of this artwork. Assignments like these are special to Juul Rameau because of what they stand for and what they represent. After the voting rounds, this design turned out to be the public’s favorite, and the many positive reactions ensure that this work always has a special place in her heart.
